| The Vaishno College of Education is a joint venture of two fast friends. One of them is Sh. Ranjit Singh Pathania (Law Graduate), the desecendant of famous Freedom Fighter Sh. Vajir Ram Singh sathania,vill, Thanpkour, Tech. Nurpur, distt. Kangra. | "Mata vaishno Devi Educational Society"Thapkour, P.O.Bhadroya, Teh.Nurpur, distt, Kangra(H.P) which was registered on 23-12-2003 with the Registrar Societies - Nurpur Vide Regd. NO 040/SDNCA2003 under the Society Registration ACt XXI, 1860. the college is recognized by the NCTE of India vide letter no F.NRC/NCTE/F-3/HP-158/APNO2313 Dated : 29th June, 2005 & affiliated to H.P.U side letter no 1-276/2005-HPU(Acad.)-1421. Dated : 20th July, 2005 The college campus is at village Thapkour, which is at Kandwal - Bhadroya(Damtal) State link Road 10 K.m form Kandwal Barrier and 3 K.m from Chakki Bridge, Pathankot and on Bhadroya kandwal highway. Local buses are available from both the places after every half an hour. Nurpur town is 20 k.m., Indora 15 k.m. and Pathankot city is just 3 K.m from the college campus. |
